anne’s academic background combined with her love for working with beats and rhythms makes a unique, natural fusion and organic contemporary movement language, strongly driven by music. rhythmical and dynamic. it’s her signature and characteristic for her work.

‘people and what makes us human is what always fascinates me. the work is about relatable theme’s. i zoom in on life, on our relationships. the work is always about emotions. i research how to give shape to the inner world. the highs and the lows. i create about the things that are difficult to talk about. people only want to share their successes, i think out of fear. but i believe so much in the power of vulnerability and that we would get much further if we would be more open and honest about our experiences and dared to share. it will bring us closer. this is where I always start from. as a person and as a maker.’
